Step 1
As a community based advisory body, we work with and for families and the community to create safer, healthier and stronger environments.
Step 2
We focus on illicit drug advocacy and awareness, working toward ensuring our drug policies are in line with international conventions and deployed to reduce, not only the harms of drug use, but drug use itself.
Step 3
In so doing, we make representation on behalf of the community to governments at all levels and conduct awareness and information forums across various community demographics.
Step 4
We invest in strategic projects that help to educate families and all echelons of the community, to better equip and enable them to create safer, healthier, stronger communities.
Our objectives
To raise awareness of the dangers of illicit drug use and the abuse of legal drugs by:
Monitoring national and international research
Supporting additional Australian research
Development and delivery of education programmes
Encouraging initiatives to prevent illicit drug use
Supporting rehabilitation of illicit drug dependency
